About

This policy covers the website of New Media XP (“NMX”, “we”, “us”) at https://www.newmediaxp.com: its blog, product pages and other pages, and emails you send us.

The web apps on the site, PDFGen and SudokuGen, have their own privacy policies, and so do our other apps and the NMX Account. You can find them all at https://docs.newmediaxp.com.

NMX is an independent developer, not a registered company. You can reach us at the contact details at the end of this page.

Information We Collect

The website doesn’t ask for or collect personal information. It has no sign-up, no forms, no ads and no analytics, and we don’t sell or share anything about you.

Technical information

Cloudflare hosts the website. When your browser loads a page, Cloudflare receives the request, including your IP address and browser details, to deliver the page and protect the site from attacks. Cloudflare may keep logs of requests for a short time, under its own privacy policy. We see only totals, such as the number of visits, not who visited.

Cookies and browser storage

The website sets no cookies. Cloudflare may set its own cookie to protect the site from bots and attacks.
If you choose a light or dark theme, your browser saves that choice on your device. It isn’t sent to us.
Our pages load their fonts, images and code from our own site, not from other companies.

Emails you send us

When you email us, we receive your email address, your name if your email shows it, and what you write. We use them only to answer you, and keep them for as long as we need to for that.
Cloudflare forwards email sent to contact@newmediaxp.com to our mailbox, which Google (Gmail) hosts.

Links To Other Sites

The website links to app stores, social networks and other sites. If you use a Share button, the site you pick opens in a new tab with the link filled in. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you’re there.

Children

The website is for everyone. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If a child has emailed us and you’d like us to delete that email, contact us.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to tell you what information we have about you, give you a copy, correct it or delete it. The only information we could have is an email you sent us. Contact us, and we’ll answer within one month.

For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and places with similar laws: we answer emails on the basis of our legitimate interest in replying to you. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.

Changes

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. When it changes, the date at the top changes too. If a change is significant, we’ll also say so on our website before it takes effect.
